Dance Information

Whether it be dancing as a couple, a team or as an individual, the DanceFever programme exposes children to numerous styles of dance so that a range of different dance skills can be learnt and displayed by students.  DanceFever staff teach a selection of the dance styles below, so that children are kept active and motivated throughout the entire class and term programme.

Couple Dances

Dancing as a couple, students will develop skills in social etiquette, respect, coordination, communication and sportsmanship.

Cha Cha, Fox Trot, Jive, Salsa, Samba, Paso Doble, Tango, Waltz

Team Dances

Dancing in a team, students will develop team work skills including active listening, group  cooperation and organisation, reflecting and responding to feedback as well as school spirit.

School Show Dances, Circle Dances (dancing with "everyone"), Hip Hop Routines

Individual Dances

Dancing as individuals, students will develop skills in self expression and confidence, rhythm, body awareness and creativity.

Party Dances (Grease Lightning, Jai Ho, Nut Bush)

All dances are performed to the latest music tracks and traditional classics that mum’s and dad’s grew up with!  Fun, fast paced and energetic, DanceFever builds upon student’s physical fitness and re-energises their minds for classroom learning!
